Power Vault is a modular, cable-free charging and power system designed to work with V-Mount, Gold Mount and a wide range of camera batteries. With snap-in plates, it allows quick reconfiguration while enabling power sharing between batteries to keep devices running.

PowerVault’s biggest advantage is its versatility. It supports numerous battery formats—including V-Mount, G-Mount, Sony BP-U, Canon LP-E6, and even AA and 9V batteries—allowing users to charge multiple battery types simultaneously without juggling separate chargers. The system also enables stacking Snap packs for parallel charging, with the ability to handle up to 25 packs at once. This streamlined approach reduces clutter and improves efficiency, making it ideal for fast-paced production environments.

Another standout feature is Power Sharing Mode, which allows batteries to redistribute power between bays without needing an external AC source. This creates a self-contained, off-grid power solution that can keep essential gear running in remote locations. Additionally, built-in USB-C and PD Pro outputs (140W and 65W) transform PowerVault into a central power hub capable of running cameras, monitors, laptops, and more directly from the unit.

PowerVault also incorporates modern design elements and smart technology. Its GaN-based power architecture ensures efficient performance, while its IP65-rated enclosure provides durability for field use. Users can monitor and control the entire system through a dedicated Bluetooth app, offering real-time insights into battery levels, health, and charging status. Powered by Core SWX’s Voltbridge platform, the system enables reliable communication across all connected batteries.

Broadfield and Core have developed select RED battery bundles with HC9 Mini RED battery packs and charger options, at a price that makes it the perfect attachment for every RED Digital Camera purchase. These bundles will be made available to all RED dealers immediately and shipped direct from Broadfield’s newly expanded Long Island, NY warehouse.

Since the release of DSMC2, Core has been the preferred battery option for powering RED cameras. The HC9 mini battery packs were designed to fit the RED DSCM2 camera’s compact profile perfectly, and offers a 98wh capacity which can sustain draws of up to 12A. The battery packs have been used on productions with RED cameras spanning from wildlife expeditions to prominent sporting events.
