The development of the lens reflects YoloLiv’s response to customer feedback and its broader push toward creating a complete production ecosystem. Following the success of the YoloCam S3 webcam, the company expanded its R&D efforts to design a native lens that fully optimizes the S7’s performance. The result is a compact, lightweight 18mm lens with a fast F1.4 aperture, enabling creators to achieve professional-looking visuals with smooth background blur and strong low-light performance.

Technically, the lens features a 7-element, 7-group optical design that includes aspherical and low-dispersion elements, along with nano multi-layer coatings to reduce flare and ghosting. It supports both autofocus and manual focus, uses a stepper motor for precise operation, and offers an aperture range from F1.4 to F22. Additional features include compatibility with 46mm filters, a minimum focusing distance of 0.19 meters, and a compact form factor suited for streamlined setups.
