JVC Professional Video Spotlights 40x Zoom PTZ and 4K Switcher at NAB 2024

Joseph D’Amico, Vice President of JVC Professional Video, joined InBroadcast at NAB 2024 to discuss the latest JVC solutions and technologies and shares some insight with us about the company history and plans for the future.

Included among the newest products that JVC announced at the show are the new KY-PZ540 Series PTZ cameras, which incorporate JVC’s 4K imager and renowned Variable Scan Mapping technology and are the brand’s first PTZ cameras to have 40x Zoom capabilities. We were also presented with details about the KM-IP12S8 Series vMix 4K studio switchers, which are complete live video production solutions that provide mixing, switching, recording and streaming.

NAB 2024 Partner Spotlight – JVC

In the NAB 2024 Partner Spotlight YouTube video, JVC’s General Manager of Engineering, Edgar Shane, highlights JVC’s integration of NDI (Network Device Interface) into their product line. JVC offers a range of NDI-enabled PTZ cameras and video mixers, including the new KY-PZ540 camera, which supports NDI HX3. The advantage of NDI, as explained by Shane, is its ease of use in transmitting and receiving video over a local area network. Unlike peer-to-peer protocols, NDI is one-to-many, enabling multiple receivers to access the same video source. JVC showcases the integration of NDI into almost every product in their booth at NAB 2024
