Atomos Introduces Atomos Button Bar and AtomRemote Desktop App for the Neon

By Jamie G 0 Comment March 10, 2021

Atomos is introducing two new ways to control the Atomos Neon 17″ and Neon 24″. The Neon creates a consistent viewing and recording pathway for productions. In addition to the iOS app that is out, Atomos is introducing users to the Atomos Button Bar and AtomRemote Desktop App. These new ways to control the Neon will bring more flexibility to the functionality of the Neon units and open up the range as an attractive solution to a wider variety of users in the market.

Atomos Button Bar Remote Control Unit
The Button Bar provides users with the option to have a hard-wired control unit for the device. It will allow users to expand the Neon’s control interface for close field operation and fast access to tools. The Button Bar will be available in Q2. Check out some of it’s key features below.

Key Features

  • Tactile control provides fast access of NEON’s tool set, record command and playback clip review
  • Rugged construction to meet the demands of production.
  • Non-proprietary single hardwired connection for control and power.
  • Flexible mount options with anti-rotation 3/8” or 1/4” 20 thread mount.
  • Full length NATO rail.
  • Backlit buttons with adjustable levels and available tools displayed on the NEON display.

AtomRemote Desktop App
The new AtomRemote Desktop app is available now in the app store. AtomRemote is helpful in allowing users to wirelessly access and configure the input and colour pipeline and quickly access tools to check clips for focus, exposure and turn your scopes on/off for image analysis – all via Bluetooth.

These two new features allow you to take control of the Atomos Neon and give creators flexibility.
