Broadfield is offering an opportunity in our Purchasing Dept to build your career while honing your skills. This Buyer position has tremendous growth opportunity for the right candidate. You will be the face of our company as you interact daily with vendors and manufacturers of camera, live streaming, editing and storage products. You will also be interacting with our sales, marketing, finance, customer service and executive teams.
Your responsibilities will include creating Purchase Orders and tracking them; managing ETA’s and reporting them back into the system; setting up new vendors; adding & importing new items into our system; updating price books; and analyzing our sell thru data. As you grow and learn you will be handling the day to day relationships with your assigned vendors; negotiating pricing and promotions; managing inventory to achieve optimum levels; and tracking accrued rebates to maximize our profitability.
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written, analytical capabilities, able to prioritize tasks, good time management and well organized. Strong Excel knowledge is vital. ERP/CRM experience (preferably NetSuite) is a big plus.

Responsibilities:
Purchasing
- Main contact for select product lines
- Sending purchase orders to vendors
- Following up with vendors on deliveries, new products and promotions
- Tracking ETAs
- Mange back orders
- Reporting mis-shipments, damaged goods and other issues to vendors
- Communicate with marketing & sales to make sure promotions are updated
- Collaborate on new promotions, products and vendor launches
Inventory management
- Setting up new vendors and items
- Maintaining price books
- Optimizing inventory levels for two warehouses
Rebate tracking
- Work with vendors to create and manage rebate programs
- Work with finance to develop spreadsheets/ systems to track rebates
Qualifications / Skills:
- Experience with purchasing
- Intermediate Excel knowledge required; vlookups, pivot tables export/import data, etc
- Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP advantageous, but not required

- Inputting various forms of payment (checks, EFT, etc.) in Netsuite
- Communicating with customers
- Phone calls, emailing aging reports, answering questions, sending copies of invoices
- Communicating with management and sales team when necessary
- Fielding credit references
- Emailing and following up with references from customer credit applications
- Summarizing information to prepare for management
- Calling/emailing customer and sales rep advising of approval
- Billing
- Issue invoices, cash sales, and credit memos and email batches
- Process credit cards and refund credit cards

- Reviewing aging and other reports, calling customers, working with other departments when needed
Qualifications / Skills:

Order Entry / Customer Service (posted 11/2021)
We are looking for reliable, detail oriented, team player with proficiency in data entry, order processing, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Entering and processing orders into our NetSuite ERP system
- Downloading and entering orders from our website and EDI system
- Update dealer information into NetSuite
- Assisting customers on the phone and via email with order status, tracking shipments, and providing customer service
