Since the very first Shogun Atomos has continued to innovate and have given thousands of filmmakers a monitor that enhances their production and is a valuable tool. Starting from the first Shogun, Shogun Flame, Shogun Inferno and currently Shogun 7, they have sought to improve the monitor every time. The Shogun 7 is the best monitor available in the market and this is the key message of the campaign. Together we can collectively work to make Shogun 7 an even more successful product within the Atomos range.
With this in mind Atomos has developed “The Best Shogun Ever” campaign to be addressed to:
- Previous Shogun owners/users – highlight how the Shogun 7 has become an enhanced production tool since its conception
- Educating potential customers so that they understand the enhanced benefits of the Shogun 7, which will lead them to wanting to add it to their production gear
- Highlighting to your sales team what the Shogun 7 has to offer, by reflecting on how far it has come as a product
Collectively, it is our focus to target previous Shogun users who are seeking an even better production workhorse for their kit and for those who haven’t yet had the opportunity to use the Shogun 7 HDR monitor-recorder-switcher. Now is their chance!
Let’s also not forget that when combined with cameras like the Panasonic EVA1, Sony PXW-FS5, Sony FS700 and soon the Sony PXW-FX9 the Shogun 7 can enable ProRes RAW recording. With users who work in small productions, even directors who need a slightly bigger and compact monitor to review on, then the Shogun 7 is ideal for them. Other ideal work scenarios are documentary, wildlife and on-set productions.
To ensure that the benefits of our “Best Shogun Ever” campaign are clearly delivered, Atomos has created assets for you to make use of; in-store and on social media. These assets have been created to help you reinforce and call-out the key benefits of the Shogun 7, so you can then go on to explain these to prospect customers who are looking for a production workhorse like the Shogun 7 – The Best Shogun Ever.
To facilitate the distribution of this message here are a variety of assets for you to share:
- A3/A4 reversible product flyer – on this flyer you will find the Shogun 7 key features, and on the reverse, you can see all the technical specifications. These are print ready for you, if you see the benefit in having these printed you will be able to do so yourself.
- Counter card – we will be printing these and distributing them, Let us know your needs. This is a three-sided counter card highlighting all the unique selling points of the Shogun 7. (We have also provided editable files for translation in case you would like to print in your own language)
- Shogun 7 Evolution video – watch Shogun 7 – Best Shogun ever video This is a video that you can share on your social media channels and even host in-store if you have the capability. It showcases the evolution from our very first Shogun through to the Shogun 7 and all the stand-out features we have had since the beginning of Shogun.
- Social media assets – we have created 5x different assets that call out on the key features of the Shogun 7. You can post these all at once, or you can do a staggered approach and post each asset once a week.

Please be aware that assets like the reversible flyer, the counter card and social media assets have been provided in InDesign files. This is to allow you to change TEXT and translate the English copy to the required language. These files are NOT to be edited for any other purposes.
In order for this to be a successful and well-rounded campaign we need YOU ALL to get involved. These assets have been created to be shared on social media and displayed in store.
