In traditional broadcast workflows, there were people who created content, and other people who put it over the airwaves. But the traditional model is crumbling. In the world of the internet, user-generated content, social media and subscription-based TV, a new content delivery platform must emerge.
The new TC1 brings 4k 60p live streaming at a very affordable price. The TC1 has 4 hard inputs (physical camera) and multitude NDI or ‘network-based’ camera inputs. This means that churches can now easily deploy cameras and video sources around their facilities using their existing network infrastructure.
…I travel with the RAID for several reasons, shooting in 4K RAW for file transfer, file transport and editing on the road. I tried a 1080 workflow with proxy back to 4K but always seemed to have problems. In my opinion, the camera is shooting 4K and I want to use the media it generates for the best possible grade, so transcoding is not an option for me either.
