Improve your live production workflows and save money by integrating NDI into your workflow. BirdDog hopped on the NDI train as soon as NDI made it’s mark on the industry. NDI makes it possible for remote video systems to automatically detect one another and communicate through IP.
BirdDog made a unique contribution to the NDI table. Eamon Drew, CMO of BirdDog told Gigabit Media “BirdDog was actually the first company to put NDI into a silicon chip to do NDI Encode and NDI Decode. Along the way we have helped everyone from live streamers, houses of worship, educational facilities, all the way through to the largest 3-letter broadcasters with advice on how to implement NDI into their workflows and facilities.”
Eamon also says “NDI reduces the set up and pull down times, and gives enormous flexibility beyond baseband video workflows.” NDI made a huge impact in 2020 when social distancing had to take place. With the ability to set up multiple PTZ cameras and control them all using preset positions allowed for the reduction of crew which helped save money and also provided a safer environment for employees.
