By Jamie G
The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced the world to remote learning. With schools and universities closing down, all teachers and professors had to move their courses online. With the sudden switch to remote learning, the need for Epiphan products has grown tremendously. Epiphan video grabbers and professional streaming and recording products capture, record, and stream video from just about any source, making them perfect for remote learning.
Epiphan was founded in 2003 and has thousands of customers using their products for education, healthcare, live even production, manufacturing, security and transportation. They have customers like Harvard University who uses their video-capture devices to record and stream lectures and NASA who has used its technology to help capture and transmit video of experiments on the International Space Station.
With the huge demand for Epiphan products since the pandemic, Epiphan’s CFO Jeff Kushner says it hasn’t been easy. “I can’t get enough product to meet our sales,” he says. “It’s a very good problem to have – it’s just taking up a lot of time.”
Epiphan has kept up with social distancing by having their employees work remotely and has even hired new employees to keep up with the high demand. They have had their best two months of sales ever in March and June and has even closed on a on their biggest order yet with a university in central America. Kushner believes the best is yet to come!
