Pearl Nexus is a robust solution for capturing, recording, and streaming video at scale in various environments such as classrooms, courtrooms, or presentation spaces. Its key features include seamless automation of video workflows, multi-source recording, and compatibility with content management systems. In this demo we show how to combine PTZ cameras, laptop video sources, microphones and other versatile connectivity options.
Setup involves connecting sources, pairing with the Epiphan Cloud for remote management, and configuring input sources and channels for recording and streaming. The Nexus supports both physical and network video inputs, with the capability to handle up to three channels simultaneously. Automated file transfers and integration with CMS platforms ensure recordings are efficiently managed and stored. The use of a control system like Crestron or the Stream Deck enhances ease of use. Presets enable quick adjustments and deployment of multiple devices, making it ideal for scaled deployments.
