HUDSON, Mass. – April 2nd, 2025 – Facilis Technology is presenting its latest innovations in collaborative media storage at NAB Show 2025, booth SL5523 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Massachusetts-based company is introducing several advancements to its HUB ecosystem, focusing on enhanced remote workflows and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Jim McKenna, CMO at Facilis, highlighted their new FastCache system as a significant breakthrough for media workflows. “FastCache transforms both remote and on-site production by leveraging NVMe client-side caching with our Shared File System,” said McKenna. “We’re excited to demonstrate how this technology makes remote editing virtually seamless.”
The company’s NAB 2025 showcase features several key products:
FastCache Workflow Accelerator – This new technology enables local data caching on workstations connected to Facilis HUB servers. It works across LAN, standard VPN, or Facilis’ WANLink remote connectivity solution, storing data on local SSD/NVMe drives. This approach maintains collaborative capabilities without requiring cloud synchronization.
FastTracker AI Updates – Facilis has enhanced its media asset management with advanced AI capabilities for 2025, including improved object recognition, landmark identification, and facial recognition. Their on-premises transcription system now supports 30 languages without requiring internet connectivity. A new integration panel for Blackmagic Resolve streamlines metadata management and asset gathering.
HUB Software Management 8.3 – The latest version introduces multilingual support, improved security features, enhanced Active Directory integration with Kerberos validation, and more comprehensive system monitoring tools.
Shane Rodbourn, COO of Facilis Technology, emphasized the company’s commitment to developing tools that help media professionals adapt to changing production environments. The NAB Show allows attendees to experience these solutions firsthand and learn how to optimize their media production workflows.
