First look: YoloLiv YoloBox Mini

The new YoloLiv YoloBox Mini is here! The YoloBox Mini is a super portable live streaming encoder, monitor and recorder that is capable of incorporating many powerful features for high end work! Allan Tépper takes a first look at the YoloBox Mini and goes over the differences between the Mini with the YoloBox and YoloBox Pro. Plus all the features of the YoloBox Mini.
“All YoloBox devices (to date) accept some amount of HDMI and/or USB camera sources. All can switch between the different camera sources and pre-recorded videos. All can record audio/video to a memory card. All can encode video for live webcasting/streaming to popular platforms either via Ethernet, wifi or 4G/LTE. All can superimpose graphics. All have a color touchscreen. That’s the starting point for all of them.”

One of the most noticeable differences is the size of the touchscreen. The YoloBox Mini is only 5.5 inches! Similar to the size of smart phones, making it ultra portable. Important features to note is streaming at 1080p at ≈60 frames per second, streaming to multiple destinations such as Facebook Live and YouTube more, overlay graphics, comment overlays and more!
