Grass Valley Debuts High-Density SDI/IP Gateway, Unified Orchestration & Next-Gen Live Production Tools at NAB 2025

Headlining the launch is the ACE-3901, the industry’s most dense SDI/IP gateway, designed to ease the transition to ST 2110 workflows at scale.
Delivering support for 384 SDI-to-IP transitions in 4RU, with dual 100/200 GbE interfaces and SMPTE ST 2022-7 redundancy, the ACE-3901 integrates directly with GV Orbit for unified orchestration. It’s a powerful solution for broadcasters looking to bridge legacy infrastructure with modern IP-based production.
Additional highlights from Grass Valley at NAB 2025 include:
- Kaleido-IP X Professional: A fully customizable AMPP-based multiviewer supporting SDI, ST 2110, NDI, RIST, SRT, RTMP, and MPEG-TS, with built-in probing and signal analysis.
- Densité X ACO: Real-time redundancy and failover system for AMPP signals, ensuring clean and intelligent signal switching.
- Densité X Timers: Three configurable video-based timing tools for live event coordination.
- AMPP Edge Standard, Pro & Ultra: The next evolution in edge computing for hybrid media environments, offering scalable processing tailored to diverse production needs.
In orchestration, Grass Valley is showcasing the merger of GV Orbit and AMPP Orchestration into the industry’s most advanced hybrid management layer. With hardware, software, and cloud environments unified, media organizations can now control Densité processing, Sirius routers, multiviewers, and even third-party systems through a single platform.
Also launching is the ATP-2100 Series of touchscreen-enabled control panels, delivering a hybrid interface that combines physical tactile control with dynamic software-based configuration — ideal for operators switching between cloud and hardware-based workflows.
