Your capture card has to work with your computer. - Durability and portability
Before you make your purchase, think about where and how you will be using it. If you are going to be traveling with it, you’ll need something rugged and portable. - Audio transmission
If you need to capture your camera’s audio, make sure your capture card can support that.
