Live Video Streaming Continues to Gain Steam

As live streaming media interest grows with it grows the technology and popularity.  And now with the ability to live stream becoming easier not only are more people doing their own productions, but more people are watching.  Finding easy-to-use encoders and live production systems aren’t as difficult to find and most camera-types are easily integrated into most workflows.  It seems as more people do their own live streams more people will shift their entertainment focus that way.  According to Remie Arena with eMarketer this trend will continue until the next innovation in media occurs.

Respondents worldwide are more likely to stream live video across a variety of platforms and apps compared with those in the US. Except when it comes to digital streaming subscriptions. In this instance, live streaming video viewers in the US are slightly more likely (43%) to watch live video through a digital streaming subscription than those worldwide (41%).
