In this article, Matrox Video and intoPIX are spotlighting cutting-edge IP video solutions at NAB 2025, featuring JPEG XS compression technology to transform how real-time video is transported in ST 2110 and IPMX ecosystems.
On display is the all-new Matrox Vion 4K IP Gateway, purpose-built for high-quality, low-latency video encoding, decoding, and transcoding over IP networks. Together with the ConvertIP series, it now supports seamless integration with intoPIX’s Titanium software applications, delivering a flexible and high-performance IP media workflow across PC-based production environments.
These joint solutions enable interoperable, bandwidth-efficient IP video transport, with the reliability and speed demanded by modern broadcast and ProAV applications. Most recently, both companies participated in the IPMX interoperability trials hosted by the Video Services Forum, validating their contributions to real-world deployments.
“JPEG XS is enabling a new era of video-over-IP,” said Jean-Baptiste Lorent of intoPIX. “Our partnership with Matrox delivers reliable, ultra-low-latency IP workflows across mainstream infrastructures.”
“Together, we’re offering a suite of tools optimized for today’s broadcast and AV demands,” added Daniel Maloney of Matrox Video.
