New KOMODO Firmware Update and KOMODO On Set of Extraction 2

The RED KOMODO firmware update, version 1.7.5 is now available!
This firmware update includes
- In-camera upload to Frame.io and Amazon S3
- Smaller RAW Files with new ELQ R3D quality
- Improved autofocus performance
- Support for RED RF o PL Adapters
- Built-in accelerometer and gyro recording
- Sensor sync shift for virtual production
- And more!
And some more exciting news, the RED KOMODO was used on the set of the Netflix film, Extraction 2.
“Our entire 22-minute action oner on EXTRACTION 2 was all shot on a KOMODO. And I made some very cool mini remote heads on a stick and a different rig held with one hand, and another rig held with two hands that has an electromagnetic attachment that attaches and detaches to be able to continue our oner and not cut. Fun! I don’t know what other cameras would have given us what the KOMODO did.”
