Today’s new Shogun Series is bolstered by new abilities from AtomOS 11, massive connectivity from integrated networking, more codecs, and compatibility with almost every camera. Shogun. The 7-ich and Complete Connectivity & Integrated Atomos Monitor-Recorder

With a 7-ich screen and 2000 nits brightness, Shogun and Shogun Ultra allow filmmakers to keep their vision under control. The advanced suite of monitoring tools helps them capture the perfect shot, saving time and effortlessly achieving their creative vision. Shogun and Shogun Ultra feature IN-OUT 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 In & Out, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, AirGlu, and include an arsenal of codecs 6K Apple ProRes RAW (8K with Shogun Ultra), Apple ProRes, DNxHD as well as H.265.

Shogun and Shogun Ultra have two faces: Local and Cloud.

Local: as a monitor recorder Shogun line offer HDR screen, new monitoring tools and both HDMI and 12G SDI. With full codec flexibility ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD or H.265 included, Shogun and Shogun Ultra give filmmakers the freedom to set their project workflow. Shogun has all this covered.

Built on the newly introduced AtomOS 11, Shogun and Shogun Ultra are equipped with the most advance monitoring suite including the new Atomos tools like RecordAssist, PlayBackAssist, ELZone, ARRI false colour and ready from the box to get into Cloud related workflows. Shogun and Shogun Ultra are the ultimate 7-inch monitor choice for filmmakers to take their camera into the next level.

Cloud. Cloud related features turn on its wireless and network capabilities, offering the best-of-breed Wi-Fi, Ethernet and AirGlu wireless sync technology – and access to new and productive cloud workflows like camera to cloud and Atomos Edit.
The new Shogun Series optimizes its capabilities by enabling advanced collaborative workflows through the Atomos Cloud Studio ACS.

Compared to Shogun, Shogun Ultra goes even further by maximising its power enabling Dual Record ProRes RAW/H.265 for Camera to Cloud. Its versatility extends with SDICine which offers automated matching filenames, timecode synchronisation and record triggering from ARRI, Canon, RED and Sony SDI cameras. Save valuable time by uploading master-quality 4K H.265 files to the cloud in real time while recording. Shogun Ultra supports up to 4K NDI, AirGlu wireless timecode and control and WiFi 6E ensuring a more stable connection and enhancing your cloud video workflow.

AtomOS 11 will also be made available to existing Shogun Connect users via a firmware update. This update brings Shogun Connect users the full suite of Shogun Ultra features. Going forward, Shogun Connect will be replaced by Shogun Ultra.
