Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church’s live streaming story is a perfect example of how house of worship streaming is here to stay. Even after the world slowly started transitioning back to normal after the 2020 Coivd lockdown, many houses of worship noticed that their audiences weren’t the same pre-covid. For Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, they decided to create a permanent streaming solution so they would be able to live stream their services, while also holding them in person.
They worked with Clare Communications for their setup and advice on how to create a affordable and simple solution. Their setup included PTZOptics cameras, the Roland V-60HD Switcher, and more.
Kyle Stuart, Clare Communications’ Systems Design & Project Manager says, “The cameras provide everything from locked-off wide angle vision from the rear of the church through to the flexibility of a pan/tilt/zoom unit attached to a pillar that has the capability of capturing anything that might be missed by the rear camera. The Roland switcher can achieve a very professional package with a short period of training”
With their permanent streaming solution setup, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart is able to help stay connected to their audience and help family and friends stay connected with their streaming services such as weddings and funerals.
