PTZOptics Studio Pro All-in-One Live Streaming Camera with 12x Optical Zoom

Matthew Allard ACS recently posted an article for NewsShooter discussing the new PTZOptics Studio Pro camera. The PTZOptics Studio Pro All-in-One Live Streaming Camera with 12x Optical Zoom is being marketed as a low-cost all-in-one live streaming solution.

It is intended for content creation, live streaming, and videoconferencing, and it can capture and stream HD video up to 1080p60 over IP while also outputting locally via USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 and HDMI. It also has interchangeable portrait and landscape modes, making it compatible with a variety of streaming services such as Instagram. A quick focus function keeps subjects in focus by utilizing the camera’s time-of-flight sensor.
A noise-canceling microphone array, a microphone input, NDI|HX, SRT/RTMP/RTSP streaming support, 12x optical zoom, 16x digital zoom, and a wide 72.5° field of view are also included.
The camera also includes an LED panel that can be attached to the top handle via the integrated shoe mount. Using the included IR remote control, you can control the camera’s operation remotely.
The camera is only 1.54 lb / 699 g in weight.
The Studio Pro can be integrated into even the most complex setups thanks to its simultaneous HDMI, USB-C, and IP output capabilities. The camera includes NDI|HX natively, so no additional license is required to access your camera over the network.
The Studio Pro supports PoE and can be powered via USB or a standard 12 VDC power supply. It also has a USB-A output for powering an accessory.
