In this week’s Tuesday Tutorial, NewTek teaches us how to control the Mix Effects in your TriCaster with the Flex Control Panel. Mix effects are essentially a sandbox – you can mix and match video sources and layer them to create dynamic visuals for your production, you can use it as a secondary switcher or even as a tool for a virtual set.

PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras offer a lot of benefits for camera operators. They can be used to capture a wide range of shots, including overhead and panoramic views, and can be controlled remotely, making it easy for operators to adjust the camera’s position and zoom level. Additionally, PTZ cameras are often compact and lightweight, making them easy to transport and set up.
