Storage company G-Technology has announced a new stand-alone SSD storage device that it claims can manage transfer speeds of up to 540MB per second. The G-Drive slim SSD uses a USB 3.1 interface and requires no external power source to run.
The G-DRIVE uses a USB Type-C connector and draws all the power it needs from a USB connection. It includes a USB-C cable and a USB-C-to-A cable so you can use the drive with older USB-A devices. It delivers 1TB of storage capacity and is sold
