Musicians are streaming live from their homes, teachers are presenting lectures, friends are doing on-line happy hours and the list goes on. But an important question to be asking is, what is the best way to get the information to your audience both now and in the future?

Wirecast into Zoom
1. Launch Wirecast (or your live video production and virtual camera app) and start your virtual camera output. Make sure all the graphics, titles, cameras, images, and sound clips you need are loaded.
2. In Zoom, select the Wirecast virtual camera as your camera. Now whatever you “go live” with in Wirecast will be in your Zoom camera.
3. Professionally “produce” your Zoom session from Wirecast. A Zoom Assistant (ZA) is recommended to handle this for you, if you are the host in Zoom.
There are many important aspects that go into streaming a live broadcast. I often have people asking: “Which settings should I use to broadcast a high-quality stream?” Seems like a reasonable question but there are so many variables involved that it’s impossible for me to give a simple answer. My goal here is to explain all of the different factors involved and hopefully give you the knowledge necessary to start Wirecasting like a pro.
Using the Master Layers is a great way to compose your shots individually. This way each source may turn on and off or be switched to and from.
