We know it’s been a long time coming for true improvements in the area of hardware acceleration for rendering in VEGAS Pro. When we took over production of VEGAS Pro nearly a year and a half ago, nothing was closer to the top of our priority list than this. In VEGAS Pro 14, we introduced hardware-accelerated HEVC rendering for both 8-bit and 10-bit rendering.
Last years’ VEGAS 14 is still called Sony VEGAS by most people I talk to, in fact, search for Sony VEGAS on Google or eBay and you will find many results for VEGAS 14. The new features making VEGAS Pro 15 more user-friendly.

Very often though, the choices creative professionals make will be more about familiarity than they are about what kind of options that choice affords them.
In this second episode looking at VEGAS Pro, we’re going to look at Editing Basics.
Just sharing a color correction video I posted on my personal channel. I often get questions about video equipment, tools, and software so figured I’d share this here too. I’ll be doing more like this, let me know if you dig it!
