Teradek VidiuGo, Cube & Bolt 1000 live streaming workflow for Health Care
By Jamie G
Due to COVID-19 live streaming equipment and services have sky rocketed. Martin Jenoff, who is very experienced in the industry and even owns his own company, Focal Point Productions, has been helping the Baltimore Hospital reach their health care workers through live streaming with Teradek. Jenoff has added the Teradek Vidiu Go, Cube encoder, and Bolt 1000 to his company to allow his team to quickly scale their productions.
Jenoff saw the large increase in demand for live streaming due to COVID-19. When Baltimore’s GBMC HealthCare System wanted a quick and easy way to get information out to their health care workers, Jenoff knew the answer was live streaming. Jenoff helped them live stream an abundance of information to their workers. 800-1,000 of their workforce tuned in to watch live and ask questions in real-time. Hundreds more tuned in to watch on-demand. The Teradek VidiuGo is used by multiple businesses, freelancers, and organizations to seek the cutting edge of broadcast technology and allows users to easily and quickly live stream to their destination of choice.
“We’ve been working with the hospital for years, during which time we’ve produced several Facebook Live events. Since COVID-19 started in Maryland in mid-March, we also did 9 public Facebook Lives for them concerning COVID-19 and two more on another topic. For all of them, the Cube and their Internet is the primary and the VidiU GO with cellular bonding is the back up.”
