Pearl, Pearl Mini and Pearl-2 firmware 4.12.0 is now available!

Epiphan is pleased to announce release 4.12.0 for their Pearl family of all-in-one switching, recording, and streaming systems!
In this release, Epiphan future-proofed Pearl and added some modern streaming protocols to keep up with the latest streaming technology – as well as included some feature enhancements.
Firmware 4.12.0 Update
- Three new streaming protocols: Secure Reliable Transport (SRT), HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) ingest/push, and MPEG-DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP)
- HLS (pull) with configurable segment size and playlist duration.
- Support for multiple multicast publishers in the same Pearl channel.
- The ability to add pre-existing recordings to an Automatic File Upload (AFU) queue.
- Improved reporting of streaming errors and warnings, as well as enhancements to the Info page in Pearl’s Admin panel.
Customers wanting to upgrade to 4.12.0 who haven’t already registered their Pearl devices with Epiphan, need to do so to be eligible to download this latest firmware update.
