NAB 2023: Roland VR-6HD wins Best Streaming Solution

The new Roland VR-6HD was awarded Videomaker’s Best Streaming Solution of NAB. The VR-6HD is a pro hybrid event mixer with six HDMI inputs, three HDMI outputs, 28-channel audio mixing, direct LAN and USB-C webcam streaming outputs, advanced automation features, and more.
The VR-6HD is a portable solution great for business presentations, worship services and more streaming applications. It’s easy access to tactile controls make it easy for a single operator.
The VR-6HD offers six HDMI inputs that support Full HD video feeds, accommodating various frame rates and color spaces. This allows you to connect multiple video sources such as cameras, computers, tablets, smartphones, gaming consoles, and legacy devices.
The inclusion of the 4:3 aspect ratio support enables compatibility with older devices that may still use that aspect ratio, ensuring a wide range of connectivity options for different equipment.
The VR-6HD offers the capability to remotely control robotic PTZ cameras. This feature allows for on-the-fly camera angle adjustments without the need for an additional camera operator. This can be particularly useful in situations where a single operator is managing the entire production and needs to control the camera movements as well.
By integrating these features, the Roland VR-6HD aims to provide a comprehensive solution for live productions, offering flexibility, convenience, and versatility in capturing and switching video feeds.
