BirdDog X1 and Maki Cameras at NAB 2024

In the “Birddog X1 and Maki Cameras at NAB 2024” YouTube video segment, Anthony Barokas of StreamTek introduces the company’s new products, the X1/X1 Ultra and MAKI Ultra cameras, which have been announced and started shipping this month. BirdDog aimed to address customer feedback and innovate in the production camera, PTZ camera, and box camera markets. Both cameras come with enhanced NDI|HX3 format, offering improved processing speed and image quality. The company plans to support full NDI while also utilizing NDI|HX 3 to exceed standards. Anthony also discusses the potential for a two-tiered product line from BirdDog and MAKI Ultra, with the X1 and MAKI Ultra cameras catering to different production environments. The launch of these new cameras marks the beginning of new announcements from BirdDog.
