At the 2024 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Panasonic Connect showcased its latest AV technology solutions designed to enhance content production across various environments. A highlight of the event was the KAIROS live video production platform, which received significant updates to improve its compatibility with SDI-centric systems. This platform, already recognized for its top-tier performance, saw the expansion of the KAIROS Alliance Partners program to include over 50 partners, with new additions such as Drastic Technologies, LAWO, NETGEAR, and Singular.live. These partnerships ensure that KAIROS can be easily integrated into a multitude of customer-defined production systems, enhancing its flexibility and utility.

Panasonic also introduced the AW-UE30 PTZ Camera, which is designed to improve remote content production. The camera features 4K/30p video streaming, providing high-quality, immersive visuals that make remote participants feel as if they are physically present. Its compact design and quiet operation minimize disruptions in live settings, and it is compatible with existing USB-based systems, ensuring ease of integration. This makes the AW-UE30 particularly beneficial for corporate and educational environments where engaging remote viewers is crucial.

In addition to these products, Panasonic’s Media Production Suite (MPS) was awarded the 2024 Product of the Year in the category of Camera Support, Control, and Accessories. The MPS simplifies camera management by allowing a single operator to control multiple cameras remotely, significantly reducing costs and personnel requirements. Its unified software platform is fully customizable with several plug-ins, including a new AI-powered Video Mixer that uses automatic image recognition to create chroma key-like compositions without the need for green screens.

Lastly, the newly announced AV-SF10 Software Control Panel enhances operational ease, allowing users with minimal experience to produce high-quality content. By connecting a networked PC or tablet to an AV-HSW10 switcher, the control panel makes the operation more intuitive and accessible. This innovation opens up professional-grade content production to a broader audience, underscoring Panasonic Connect’s commitment to making advanced AV technology more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly. These developments collectively highlight Panasonic Connect’s dedication to advancing content production technology and supporting diverse production needs.
