Avid Launches Cloud-Based Media Composer Workflow with AWS Integration

This collaboration allows for rapid deployment of production environments — from days to just hours — using customizable templates that adapt to project needs.
The new updates boost workflow efficiency with improved panel integrations, deeper third-party support like Flawless’ DeepEditor, and enhanced AI tools such as ScriptSync and PhraseFind. Media Composer now offers tighter integration with Pro Tools, enabling sub-frame audio automation and streamlined metadata exchange. Speech-to-text tools now allow editors to navigate dialogue with AI-generated transcripts directly in the clips.
Additional previews at NAB will include Cue Pro for streamlined ADR and Matchbox for seamless conforming between sound and video. Avid is aiming to simplify, scale, and secure content creation for post-production teams across the globe.
