At the University of Rhode Island (URI), AV is designed to stay out of the spotlight. “We try to make everything as seamless and invisible as possible, to let the teaching take center stage,” says Katie Babula, AV Manager.
To meet growing demand for video content, URI’s AV team deployed Epiphan Pearl Nexus across 45 classrooms and auditoriums, fully integrated with Panopto and Q-SYS. The result? A hands-free, automated lecture capture solution that lets instructors simply walk in and teach.
