Supporting millions of visitors and a growing number of connected AV systems requires a network built for both performance and expansion. At Global Village Dubai, Adeco Technologies deployed a NETGEAR infrastructure designed to replace the venue's limited 1G connectivity with a resilient 10G network backbone.
The solution combines NETGEAR M4350 core and distribution switches with M4250 access switches, providing connectivity for the venue's large number of IP-based amplifiers, speakers, and control systems. All access switches also include 10G uplink capability, giving Global Village room to increase bandwidth without replacing its switching hardware.
Wireless connectivity was addressed with WAX610 and WBE710 access points, centrally managed through NETGEAR Insight. Strategic AP placement provides seamless roaming for technicians and operational teams moving throughout the venue.
The result is a scalable AV-over-IP network that supports Global Village's interconnected background music systems, centralized AV control, and future expansion while delivering the reliability required in a high-density entertainment environment.
For AV integrators designing large venues, theme parks, attractions, and entertainment destinations, Global Village demonstrates how NETGEAR AV networking can provide a reliable foundation for today's systems while preparing infrastructure for future growth.
