Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, built a new student broadcast studio inside its Blake Center, a facility created for the school's future-focused programs. Working with AV integrator FORTÉ, Westminster selected QuickLink StudioPro as the production backbone for its student-led WCAT broadcast program.
Instead of deploying separate systems for ISO recording, graphics, video playback, and production, StudioPro brought core capabilities together into one platform. The studio combines three RED KOMODO cameras, NewBlue Captivate graphics, NDI and web sources, Zoom remote guests, Yamaha audio, RTS intercom, and a 30-foot SNA Displays LED video wall. A StudioPro Proton control surface and Multiview help support a streamlined two-person production crew.
The new workflow has also reduced post-production requirements. Students can switch cameras, integrate graphics, play video packages, and bring in remote guests during the production instead of assembling everything afterward. WCAT currently records its shows live-to-tape and plans to expand into livestreaming.
