Broadfield’s Statement on COVID-19, March 16, 2020

By Jim Bask 0 Comment March 16, 2020

Our dealers and vendors like doing business with Broadfield because we make it easy to do business. Even in challenging times like this.

Over the past 18 months Broadfield has been actively migrating to a cloud-based infrastructure. We migrated to NetSuite for our ERP, CRM and warehouse management system. We use the Mitel Connect IP telephone system. We are in the process of implementing Office 365 file sharing and collaboration. None of this was done to prepare for an epidemic. We did it to streamline our operations and to serve our customers even better.

Broadfield Distributing’s offices and warehouse will remain open. Over the next few weeks our sales team and many others will be working remotely from home with full access to all the systems and technology they need.

Processing, fulfilling and processing your orders is our top priority. Our commitment to making it easy for you to do business with Broadfield has never been stronger. At the same time, we are implementing and taking all CDC recommended precautions.

One of my personal mantras is “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Never has this been truer. I am extremely confident that this crisis will drive demand for live streaming products and solutions. Every house of worship will now be looking to stream their services. Schools across the country will be investing in distance and remote learning. Corporations will look to use video conferencing and webinars to replace travel and trade shows. The long-term picture is very positive for Broadfield and our customers. If you aren’t already selling live streaming solutions, call us now to get started!

Thank you to all our customers and to our staff as we all work together to get thru this crisis. Together I know we will.
