Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta has added a Mini Halo Board inside its production control room, giving operators a scaled-down replica of the massive Halo Board seen by fans inside the venue. The new LED display is designed to improve quality control, rehearsal, and show preparation for Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and other events.
Systems integrator Alpha worked on the project alongside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Daktronics, Ross Video, and other technology partners. Daktronics used flexible 1.5mm LED modules to recreate the unique circular display, while Ross Video technology scales the feeds used on the full-size Halo Board for the control-room version.
For integrators working in sports venues and live-event production, the project demonstrates how replicating complex in-venue displays inside the control room can give production teams a more accurate way to test content, reduce preparation time, and manage multiple shows without relying solely on cameras pointed at the main display.
