Delivering a professional live experience to thousands of attendees requires reliable cameras, flexible switching, and consistent image quality. At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, live event production company Show Imaging partnered with Panasonic to bring broadcast-quality video to some of the convention's most popular panels.
The production featured three Panasonic AW-UE150 4K PTZ cameras, one AK-UC4000 studio camera, and the Panasonic KAIROS live video production platform. This setup captured close-ups of panelists and audience members while providing real-time switching, graphics, and video routing.
To ensure visibility throughout the venue, Show Imaging also deployed 18 Panasonic PT-RQ35 projectors across a 250-foot projection screen. KAIROS supported SMPTE ST 2110 connectivity, allowing the team to manage IP video signals directly while reducing the need for additional conversion equipment.
For AV integrators, live event production companies, and broadcasters, the installation demonstrates how Panasonic's integrated camera, projection, and IP production technologies can simplify complex workflows while delivering consistent visuals across large venues.
