The Ninja V is an awesome recorder. I feel like 5″ displays are ideal on cameras and gimbals. And also for the price and what it is capable of, I would highly recommend it.

AtomOS 10 (10.01 to be exact) comes as a free-to-download piece of software. Once you’ve installed it, you’ll be rewarded with a familiar, yet very different user interface. Since the Ninja V is all about HDR recording and monitoring, Atomos chose to make the different UI elements less distracting and therefore reduced their saturation quite a bit. It’s all about the actual image you’re monitoring, really. But there’s more, obviously.
Thank you to everyone who has bought a Ninja V so far. We are delighted with the amazing response it has had since we started shipping it a few weeks ago. With the new AtomOS 10 on Ninja V there have been some significant changes in the way things we do things compared to our previous models – especially in the overall look and feel, the placement of buttons, and the way that AtomHDR works.
