Avid at IBC with New Post Workflows Based on MediaCentral

Post production work can be demanding when it comes to storage. With that, collaboration can also become affected which can have an impact on the general workflow. Lately it seems shared storage and/or working off a network or a cloud-type service has been able to improve this kind of work as many post houses have made the transition to their workflow. Avid at IBC unveiled a designed workflow using shared storage and a cloud service along with other production tools covering all the needs of post production. Avid is calling this specified integration “MediaCentral for Post”. Including a wide range of Avid products with MediaCentral features, this designed workflow should increase productivity and ease collaboration among colleagues.
