PTZOptics Voice Tracking Firmware Demo | ISE 2026

At Integrated Systems Europe 2026 (ISE 2026), PTZOptics introduced a new voice-tracking feature for its PTZOptics Move 4K PTZ Camera and PTZOptics Link 4K Camera, delivered through a firmware update. Demonstrated in a video produced by KitPlus, the feature uses beam-forming microphones to create audio zones that allow cameras to automatically switch or recall presets based on where a speaker’s voice is detected. Designed for conference rooms and live production environments, the system can support up to about ten cameras, though a single camera with multiple presets can also achieve similar results for smaller setups. Because the voice-tracking capability is built directly into the camera firmware, no additional PTZOptics hardware is required. The solution works with software platforms like vMix and OBS Studio, as well as hardware switching partners such as Eno Genie Automatic Camera Switcher, and is being developed in collaboration with microphone brands including Audio-Technica, Shure, and Sennheiser to ensure reliable audio tracking across different environments.
