A new global study from Audinate and Futuresource Consulting highlights a major shift in the AV industry, with Audio-Visual over IP (AVoIP) rapidly becoming the foundation of modern workflows. Surveying over 470 professionals across multiple industries, the research found that 67% of organizations are already using IP networks for audio, while 59% have adopted video over IP, with many more planning deployments in the near future. This signals a clear transition from traditional AV infrastructure to scalable, network-based systems.
The report emphasizes that today’s adoption is no longer driven by connectivity alone. Instead, organizations are prioritizing scalability, future-proofing, and flexibility as core requirements. As AV environments grow more complex and distributed, AVoIP is emerging as a critical infrastructure layer that enables seamless integration, remote workflows, and long-term system growth.
