BirdDog Showcases New IP Workflows and Product Updates at NAB 2026

BirdDog celebrated its 10th anniversary at NAB 2026 with a series of new workflow demonstrations, product updates, and industry recognition. One of the biggest highlights from the show was the BirdDog XL Ultra receiving the TVTechnology Best of Show award, reinforcing the company’s continued focus on professional IP-based video production workflows.
The company also announced Dante AV-H integration for its X Series cameras, excluding the X5, MAX, and BirdDog Connect platforms. The update enables unified AV-over-IP workflows by combining audio and video transport over standard networks while still allowing independent control. The feature is scheduled to roll out through a firmware and licensing update.
Throughout NAB, BirdDog demonstrated several live production workflows using PLAY Pro, TVU Networks, Blackmagic ATEM integration, and mimoLive production tools. These showcases highlighted distributed production, bonded cellular streaming, AI-assisted automation, and remote contribution workflows designed for modern live streaming and broadcast environments.
