Video Destination incorporated Canon CR-N700 PTZ cameras into its live production setup to improve flexibility and coverage during an AFL combat sports tournament. The PTZ cameras were deployed in positions where standard camera operation would be difficult, giving the team more creative options for capturing live action.
Using Canon’s Auto Tracking Application, the cameras could automatically follow selected subjects without constant manual adjustment. This automation reduced the need for dedicated operators on every camera, helping the production team manage streaming, switching, and overall workflow more efficiently.
