CTI continues its aggressive expansion in the Pro AV industry with the acquisition of Valley Communications Systems, a long-established audiovisual integration company based in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The move strengthens CTI’s presence across the Connecticut River Valley while expanding coverage throughout the Boston, Hartford, and Albany markets.
Valley Communications brings more than 80 years of AV integration experience to CTI’s growing national network. According to CTI CEO John Laughlin, the acquisition aligns closely with CTI’s focus on customer relationships, long-term service, and team investment. The addition also expands CTI’s capabilities throughout New England as demand for integrated AV and collaboration technologies continues to grow.
The acquisition marks CTI’s third Pro AV acquisition of 2026 and continues a multi-year growth strategy that has included companies across the U.S. and international markets. Recent additions such as Nomad AV Systems, Streamline Solutions, Candeo Vision, and LightWerks reflect CTI’s broader push to expand both geographic reach and service capabilities across the Pro AV industry.
