Atomos extends the amazing HDR functionality of the Flame Series to the existing Shogun, Ninja Assassin, and Blade products!
The latest updates allow both current and future customers of these amazing products the ability to monitor a camera’s LOG signal in an expanded color space with AtomHDR! Now you can shoot what you see!
Below are some of the features to know about in the OS, as well as links to download the FW from the Atomos website and AMAZING VIDEOS that further explain the features available in the latest updates.
Features of the OS:
- MORE CAMERA SUPPORT: ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, and JVC
- SLOW MOTION PLAYBACK is now possible, forward or backwards in five different speed variations each way. (Available on Shogun & Assassin only)
- COLOR MAPPING with AtomHDR is improved significantly with more precise mathematics to map each pixel with more accurate colors and brightness
- HDR SLIDER added – easy & simple-to-use – slide from SDR (REC 709) to HDR. As you slide up additional stops of dynamic range will be resolved.
- SIMPLIFIED HDR Line added to waveform monitor – yellow line that is a clipping graticule, dynamically linked to your HDR slider. Adjusting slider increases the dynamic range you can see on your monitor.
- CINEMA DNG RAW beta FW available for Shogun users
